Storyline: A single woman turning 40 can't wait any longer for a Tiffany diamond and visits Tiffany's Beverly Hills with her married friend, where they meet a handsome but nerdy salesman who encourages her to try on an $84,900 ring, which gets stuck; Romantic Comedy.

MORE PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS is published in both THE BEST 10-MINUTE PLAYS 2009 anthology (Smith & Kraus) and 30 SHORT PLAYS FOR PASSIONATE ACTORS (All Original Play Publishing). Play books may be ordered through PayPal on the Store page.

I adapted MORE PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS into MORE PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS: The Musical, writing Book, Music & Lyrics. MORE PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS: The Musical ran for 10 performances in North Hollywood as part of the Secret Rose Theatre’s “Mini Musical Fest”. The date is Monday, February 11th (two shows, at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.). Tickets are $5.

The school's International Baccalaureate students  produced MORE PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS in 2014 and I was privileged to attend (see description here).

CARWASH; OR IN THIS TOWN, YOU ARE WHAT YOU DRIVE is published in The Best 10-Minute Plays 2010 anthology (Smith & Kraus). Plus, I'll autograph it! :))

Storyline: A top movie producer, a newly-arrived small town girl, a wannabe starlet an a colorful carwash cashier cross paths at an L.A. carwash, but which car is whose? And does it really matter? Comedy.

CARWASH; OR IN THIS TOWN, YOU ARE WHAT YOU DRIVE was also performed in Santa Monica and North Hollywood, and became my first international production, in Germany at the prestigious boarding school Schule Schloss Salem. It's where Prince Philip and the Queen of Spain went, dontcha know? The teacher there wrote me, "We enjoyed reading the script and on our parent's day gatherings, one just has to take a quick look at the parking lot, and meaning of your play becomes quite apparent! The Germans love their cars!"

N.B. They did it in English.

The song is based on LADY WINDERMERE'S FAN by Oscar Wilde and has a Gilbert & Sullivan feel. It was written on assignment for ANMT (the Academy for New Musical Theatre), now NMI (New Musicals Inc.) The concert is at 4:00 and is preceded by an ice cream social at 3:15, at Westchester UMC, 8065 Emerson Ave. Los Angeles 90045. It is one of five short plays in "Comedy Gold", and the only play by a female playwright.

MORE PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS is published in "The Best 10-Minute Plays for 2 or More Actors 2009" (Smith & Kraus) as well as in "30 Short Plays for Passionate Actors" by All Original Play Publishing. 

It has been produced by high schools, colleges and community theatres in California, Texas and Washington state. This marks its Kansas premiere.

I also adapted the play into a short musical, MORE PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS:The Musical, doing triple duty as the Book Writer/Composer/Lyricist. CDs are sold out, but downloads of the "fresh, pretty songs" are available on CDBaby

CARVED-OUT LIGHT is a spiritual dramedy which was inspired by a Lino Tagliapietra glasswork exhibit at the Palm Springs Art Museum. 
Two beautiful vases sit on an art gallery shelf, but why does only one glow from within? 
The world premiere was at the Obsidian Theatre in Houston in November, by Cone Man Running Productions.
